Week 4 – 2 or 3 Word Mantras

For Mental Focus, Stress Release, & Good Feelings

  1. Let’s keep things simple! Words are powerful and they can change how we feel. I love short mantra’s that are positive, because they work where ever you are; grocery store, work, home, vacation, before bed, waking up…etc.
  2. Choose a mantra to bring into your mind’s eye. You can imagine the words written across the inside of your forehead or across your heart. As you inhale, think of the first word. As you exhale, think of the second word. For example, inhale “Let”, exhale “Go”.
  3. You can say the mantra a few times, or you might meditate with it for a longer period of time. You might try to focus on it for 2 minutes. This will strengthen your ability to focus your mind; which is important for focusing on positive thoughts when we feel negative.
  4. As you meditate with your mantra, close your eyes and focus on the words. If other thoughts come in, don’t engage with them. Keep bringing your focus back to your mantra. This exercise builds grey matter in your brain, heals ADD and ADHD, and calms your nervous system.
  5. Great times to use mantras are: In the morning to start your day calm and positive, before and during exercise, when you are upset or triggered, when you feel disconnected from your Soul or God.
